Company Biography
Art Mal is a social enterprise based in Blantyre, Malawi, transforming plastic waste into educational products while equipping communities with tools for sustainability. The enterprise was founded by Mr. Manota Mphande in 2020. Through strategic partnerships, innovative upcycling, and youth-led clean-up programs, ArtMal tackles pollution, empowers communities, and generates sustainable products. Our model combines recycling technology, community mobilization, and impactful partnerships.
Our social enterprise empowers youths, women and communities through creative design, eco-conscious production and sourcing of HDPE is incentivized to enhance the livelihoods of the communities involved. We believe in turning challenges like plastic waste into opportunities for sustainable and durable products.
